Six years ago, The Abh Nation, then NationSafugnoff, began it's existence. In six years the nation has struggled, prospered, and soared to great heights. Though the golden age is behind us, we can still remember the glory years of the nation, now more vividly than ever.
As promised in, "The Abh Blog" I have prepared a special piece of work to be unveiled on the sixth anniversary of the nation, and now that time has come.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present
The Abh Nation's National Archive!
I have had the idea for a long time of collecting all the previous versions of NationSafugnoff together and making them viewable once more, to the public. Finally I had some free time to accomplish this goal. However in the process, the project took on a life of it's own and warranted the creation of a separate website. In the end, it became more than just a collection of previous versions of the nation, but a repository of the site's past. In the archives, I've included semi-fully restored versions of all the versions of NationSafugnoff ever released. I spent many tens of hours pouring through old files and had much help from archive.org's, "Internet Way Back Machine". I also decided to include archives of two other sites that heavily influenced NationSafugnoff in the early years, as well as a brief chronicle of the nation's history. Also included are notes on each version's restoration, and significance.
Admittedly, the project was more for my own satisfaction than for anything else, but I hope that you will enjoy browsing through it, and just perhaps it may be possible, that you will get a laugh out of the absurdity of some of the color schemes that once graced the nation.
