style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I know this early, but just want your thoughs on the new tomb raider game. I read some the reviews and seems to me the company learn a lesson for the poor sales of the last game and how upset fans is getting back what made tomb radier such a great game.
So far the latest incarnation of the game looks to have a lot more thought put into it. Admittedly I first started playing the series because you got to control a buxom babe packing pistols, dropping dinosaurs, solving puzzles (that weren't too hard nor instant death traps), and finding some good loot. It was what the title said it was... Tomb Raiding. The later games got too littered with instant death traps you never saw coming, no real mystic tomb mysteries, a 'more realistically proportioned Laura' to appease the criticism of the Fairer sex (too bad it was mostly MALES who were playing the game... lost sales?.. hmm? .. go figure that one), and over all sometimes too damn buggy. I for one got BORED FAST. Though the preview videos of the game so far look good.. I will have to rent this one before I’ll think about adding it to my growing game collection.
What do guys think about the new, Tomb radier game?
